What would you ask the band?
If you could have one question and one question only to ask Incubus, what would you ask them?
I am not sure...i have so many questions I can't choose just one..i'll think and get back to yall on that!

I've always wanted to know why Mike switched stage sides after Dirk left - he was on Brandon's right when Dirk played bass but switched to Brandon's left when Ben came on board. Could be no special reason, but I'd like to know.

i've asked the same question a long time ago, Suz.
i forgot who answered it but he/she said that it's about Dirk,
and i've read some lyric interpretations saying the same thing.
there are rumors that Brandon and Dirk were bi-sexual.
hence, the words "i'm kicking myself that i shared spit with you."
but this is what Brandon said about the song:
"That song is written in second and a half person. Lyrically, I stepped into what in my mind was what somebody else was trying to say at a very specific situation and couldn't say, so I basically stepped into their voice and said it for them. And that's all I can really say..."

Not at all, Kels. It'd be awesome to actually have that opportunity. Although, I do think that the beauty of Incubus is the semi open interpretation each song leaves for the listener...I might not want to know what each song means, but that's just me.

Well Amber, funny you say that. One of my favorite songs from that album is Leech, and by far one of my favorite lyrics from any of their songs is in Leech where he says "Yes men, too, can be on the rag." So you actually may be on to something. Mellie, I thought it was just me over analyzing but I'm glad you see it too. And pffft, thank the lord it's not us

I'm really interesed in knowing how many songs were created under an altered state of mind. And if the answer was many or most, then I would love to know how exactly it enhances the song writting process.
Oh and another...and maybe someone can answer this for me...Was Brandon under specific emotional distress while they created ACLOTM? Who was he so angry at?
