I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
1. Incubus has been making great music for over 15 years.
From Take Me to Your Leader, Aqueous Transmission, to Talk Shows on Mute...
Incubus changes their style to many types of rock music. I wonder before I listen to a song of theirs I have never heard, "What is this one going to sound like?" The music and lyrics are beautiful! The songs are well written. You
On July 28, 2009, I went to Columbus to see my first Incubus concert with my father. We are both big fans. They opened with Pardon Me, and closed with Let's Go Crazy. Songs from many different years were played. The concert let neither my father or myself down. We were both very impressed. Incubus sounded fantastic that night. The songs sounded the same as they did in the albums. They also had a version of "Dig" that really blew my father and I away. I was sad when the concert was coming to an end, yet I was deeply satisfied with what I heard.
My dad keeps saying, "Next year, if they go on tour, we are going again!"
2. Incubus has stayed together for a long time!
When I started to really get into Incubus, this year, I had heard they were on a long brake. I was anxious for them to start up again. As I was waiting, I heard many different people talking about Incubus braking up which really saddened me. I still had hope that they were just taking a long brake.
When I had seen that Incubus was making Monuments and Melodies, I was overjoyed! I told my dad, who had introduced to me to the music and has been listening to them since 1997, that they were making a cd. Then I later found out about the concerts, and my parents bought me tickets!
I love Incubus! They always amaze me everytime I see them in a interview or like I saw them in concert! I will continue to see them in concerts for many years to come, and will always stay a true fan!!
