you know that feeling when you are driving at night, windows down, blaring incubus? where the first chords of the guitar ring out of your speakers, and suddenly, the fact that your best friend hates you, you're broke, you need a boyfriend, and you don't know what you're gonna do with your life, doesn't even matter anymore. or when you're at an incubus concert, and you stop for a minute and look around and the thousand of other fans who just get it, who can feel the vibration of the bass down to their bones. you're screaming along with the music, not caring who sees or hears you, because at that very moment in time, everything just seems to be perfect, everything falls into place. you can relate every song to your life somehow, and it seems that brandon has written the lyric specifically for you, mike's in your head, riffing up the guitar in that perfect way, just so you can slam your head along to the beat. do you know the feeling of nirvana, of something so beautifully composed, that it makes you want to cry?
