I saw them at kansas city and it was utterly amazing. I was in awe the whole time! Did anybody else see that chick get carried off after The Duke Spirit did their set? She looked dead. I kinda wondered what happened to her. :/

i saw them a week ago and i can only describe the show with one word...euphoric..wish i could have tht night again

Good Freakin' Night!!!

INCUBUS rolled into KC early Sunday morning in preparation for their City Market gig.

I camped out a while by the tour buses and managed to get 4/5ths of the bands sigs on the new "Monuments & Melodys" vinyl - Mr. Mike proved to be quite elusive...I'll have to try to track him down in StL on Thursday!!!

The gates for City Market opened @ 6pm, and there were a TON of people waiting to jam up into the all GA venue...

Duke Spirit hit the stage @ 7:15, and ripped thru a 45 minute set of hard rocking jams. I hadn't heard them before, but they were pretty damn good.

Then the waiting began for the main course. My group was up on the rail, far left hand side facing the stage. The pushing/shoving was getting annoying, but we soldiered our way thru it.

The wait music was all 80's dance music - Duran Duran and the like...pretty funny

Incubus hit the stage around 8:45, opening with "Privilege". Awesome opener...BBoyd was pimping a green button up shirt . They continued to destroy the stage with hits like "Pardon Me", "Anna Molly", and "Megalomaniac".

The band slowed things down for "Drive", "Talk Shows", and "Dig" - taking a page out of STP's playbook with the whole acoustic thing. Really cool stuff!

Things got rowdy again with "Redefine" and the girls starting losing their minds when BBoyd took his shirt off for the last couple songs - including a cover of Prince's massive hit "Let's Go Crazy".

The encore included the trippy "Sick Sad Little World" and closed with "Warning"

I believe this was the complete set:

Privilege
Pardon Me
Nice to Know You
Anna Molly
Stellar
Megalomaniac
Love Hurts
Drive
Talk Shows on Mute
Dig
Redefine
A Certain Shade of Green
Oil & Water
Quicksand
A Kiss to Send Us Off
Wish You Were Here
Let's Go Crazy (Prince cover)
Wish You Were Here

Encore:
Punch Drunk
Sick Sad Little World
Warning

Just a fantastic day - all the band members we met were UUBER nice, and they played an OUTSTANDING gig on top of it!!!

Can't wait to see 'em again on Thursday!!!

HELLS YEAH BABY - INCUBUS TOMORROW NIGHT!!!
