In response to perfect_warmth, first off, they didn't butcher Punch Drunk, they started off Pistola wrong. Your line up list is very off as well. You missed quite a few songs, incubusma seems to have to correct line up on her post.

Let's go crazy is a prince cover, not queen, and, what show are you talking about that had 3 encores? The show I went to in Indy two years ago (their light grenades tour), only had one encore that ended with Aqueous Transmission.

It's kind of hard to take your "rating" very seriously since you seem to have a terrible recollection of the show or knowledge of Monuments and Melodies in general. I'm not here to start arguments or anything, but rethink the show before you post an average rating.

As a long time fan of the band, I was incredibly impressed with this show. Their energy was out of this world. They opened with Privilege, which was a total surprise to me ( and a great one at that). I wasn't expecting songs like Nice to Know You, Miss You, or Circles. Those were pleasant surprises for me. And I am soooooooo glad that they played the original Certain Shade of Green instead of the acoustic version from Monuments and Melodies. Not that they acoustic version isn't amazing, but seeing it live in its original format was spectacular. The audience went absolutely insane. My boyfriend and I were sitting dead center, about 5-7 rows from the front and it was a madhouse when they pulled out S.C.I.E.N.C.E. songs like Redefine and A Certain Shade of Green.

Warning was the PERFECT song to end the whole show with. I might be biased because it's easily within my top 5 Incubus songs, and I about cried when they played it. It's such a feel-good song and the performance was to die for. It's a song that most people know, and I love it when the whole audience can get into it and totally rock out.

I was a little disappointed that Pistola was in the encore. I would have traded out Pistola for Sick Sad Little World easily. Pistola is a great song, but I wanted Sick Sad Little World soooo badly. I've seen them play it before, but I was a LOT closer at this concert, and I would have loved to experience Sick Sad Little World up close and personal.

I give this show an A +, for pure energy, great song selection, and a fantastic performance.

I have to disagree. :0) The line up was:
Privelage
Pardon me
Nice to Know You
Anna Molly
Stellar
Megalomaniac
Love Hurts
Miss You
Drive (Acoustic)
Talk Show on Mute (Acoustic)
Dig (Acoustic)
Redefine
Certain Shade of Green
Circles
Quicksand
Kiss to Send us Off
Wish You Were Here
Let's Go Crazy (It wasn't a Queen cover. It's a Prince cover called Let's Go Crazy, which is conveniently on the b-disc of Monuments and Melodies. :0)
ENCORE:
Punch Drunk
Pistola (Which they restarted and it was pretty funny because Brandon goes, "We get second chances right?" Good stuff.)
Warning

i totally loved it, to put it mildly. and i've written about it somewhere on my profile to save my hands, and save my spinning head.
i will say that there are not many bands i care to see, some that i would like to see but wouldn't make a great effort still, to see. there is only one that i HAVE to see, and i can't believe i finally did! They move me, and they apparently have the ability to move me more than i could imagine when i see them in front of my eyes, live.
there's not a scale big enough for me to rate them on.

should i apologize?

Overall, it was a pretty good show. Not the best I've seen them though. I couldn't help shaking the feeling that the band was just kind of going through the motions this show; there just wasn't a whole lot of energy coming from the stage. The songs sounded great though, and they played flawlessly. Except for the encore! They butchered the beginning of 'Punch Drunk' and had to start over after about 15 seconds into it...they were offbeat, out of sync and crap lol!! But they laughed it off, started over and went into it fine (not my favorite song anyway, but whatever)...that's better than just awkwardly continuing to play while trying to sync up. And about the encore...man...it was kind of weak. They ended everything with Warning, which is a great song...but not really an encore song for me. And hte other songs included in the encore before Warning were 'Punch Drunk' and 'Pistola'...not their best work. Plus, the only did one encore this time! The other show I saw in Indy, they did 3 freaking encores; and they ended it with 'Aqueous Transmission'. Like I said, it seemed like they were just going through the motions.

But anyway, I got to hear some nice songs I haven't been able to hear live, so that's awesome. And I was only like 25 yards off the stage (I could even see Einziger's beard haha). The kicker for me was 'Redefine' and 'Circle'. Plus, they did a nice little acoustic set that added a nice personal touch to the show.

I give last night's performance a "B"

Set list according to what I recorded...could have a couple songs missing...idk:

Privellege
Stellar
Anna Molly
Nice to Know You
Megalomaniac
Love Hurts
I Miss You
Drive (acoustic)
Talk Shows on Mute (acoustic)
Dig (acoustic)...weird hearing this song acoustic
Redefine
A Certain Shade of Green
Circle
Quick Sand
Kiss to Send us Off
Wish You Were Here
*some unfamiliar cover of a Queen song (...so I was told)
Punch Drunk
Pistola
Warning

I know I'll see you again whether far or soon, but I need you to know that I care and I miss you....R.I.P. Nick.

Don't ever let life pass you by

They won't cancel it. It's rain or shine! The band is definitely used to the storms when they visit so it's great!

i don't know, it would suck...................but i'll be dancing in the rain!!!!!
can't wait! first show!!! Smiling Smiling Smiling

Laughing out loud

should i apologize?

It might rain that day! =[

...but there's only a 20% chance during night hours. The concert is outside but doesn't start until 7:30. Does anyone know if the White River State Park cancels shows when it rains, or if the show will probably go on. I'd be so crushed if I got gyped out of seeing this concert by stupid mid-west weather!
