i thought i'd share that i have made progress with the Incunesia event. the fund raiser/ benefit concert will be held around march 2010. it was suggested that we should hold a silent auction to raise more money. so, i asked MYF if they would be so kind to send us some items to auction. they replied beyond my expectation and are going to give us more than 5 items. i'm so happy that things are falling into place and i hope this event will be successful. the team is growing solid day by day and i can feel the air of positivity around me. wish us good luck, guys! =D

The LPs arrived this weekend. I've been listening to them non-stop since then.
So far I've been able to identify the samples for Drive (as played on the Alive at Red Rocks dvd),
a lot of Brandon's random vocals like the chorus for Wish U Were Here, the intro for Pistola.
But my biggest surprise (and the one I'm most happy with) are the intros for Megalomaniac, The Warmth (the singing whales) and a whole side of one LP with the whole orchestra background for Aqueous Transmission!!!!! That just f'ing floored me.

Then there's a lot of random stuff by Kilmore that is just a damn fun trip to listen on its own. I hope I can use it somehow in the near future.

My thanx to MYF and Chris especially for letting go such a special piece of their stuff.
Considering that is something they actually used when playing live, that they signed each and everyone of the sleeves of all 4 LPs and still got a thank you note from MYF, I feel this stuff is way more valuable than what I actually paid for it.

... now I feel like a cheap bastard ... well, I hope you're happy MYF!!! >:@

Arvid, congrats!! That's so cool! I think with the Harley, it's probably just too hard for people to spend that money right now. But the auction did well as a whole. That's a good thing!

Well, it was kind of a bummer. Since the pipa wasn't in working condition I thought i shouldn't spend as much as it went for on it. :S
So instead I bid on the ACLOTM bundle and won that!! .
It has ACLOTM and 3 vinyls from what it seems to be the samples of morning view, aclotm and a bunch of other songs on the last lp that Chris used to scratch.
Definitely something I wanted to get my hands upon since a while ago.
Although the pipa would've been a sweet collectible lol.

What's really sad is that Jose's Harley didn't had any bidders. It would've been of great help to the MYF cause.
