What did Wisconsin do to Incubus?
I happen to have been a fan of Incubus for almost a decade (I got into them my Junior year of High School) and have considered them my favorite band for a long time. It seems it's been going on 4-5 years since they were last in Wisconsin to play a show. Am I missing something? Are there any other fans in Wisconsin that are frustrated with the fact that we don't get concerts anymore? I understand they play shows in Chicago and Minneapolis and the like, but it has really been a LONG time since Wisconsin has been rocked by the Incu-boys!
Can anyone provide some sort of insight here? Did the WI venues piss off the band or thier management in any way?
I miss seeing them live so much. I could really use a good Incubus show one of these days!

Ya seriously i would give anything for a live incubus show, just a broke ass college kid who cant afford to fly out for a show.... Has anyone ever thought of starting maybe a facebook or myspace page to try to get the word out that we want incubus in Wisconsin!! would really like any feedback anyone has!

Lolla 2003 was indeed the last time the entire band was in WISCONSIN!
BUT...in 2008 Ben Kenney and DJ Kilmore did their SOLO TOURS and played at a small bar in Madison for about 50 of us! I got to hang with them, take shots of Jack with them and play darts with them!!!! IT WAS OUTSTANDING.
I asked Kilmore why they dont come back to WISCO and he said, QUOTE "The world is a very large place..."
Seeing them tomorrow in chicago again! Anyone else!?!?! Love Northerly Island...

I'm so glad someone posted this. It's been way way too long since incubus has been here in wisconsin. Am I right when I say the last time was Lollapalooza in 2003? I have no problem driving to chicago to see them everytime they've toured since then, but wisconsin really is in need of some incubus shows. I'm down with any way to get them back here.
So here's my deal...I live in madison, WI and we have no shortage of places for a band to get the groove rocked out on.
I'm just saying that I know at least 200+ people that I know would have an orgasm if they knew Incubus would play a show in mad town. Regardless of which place they decided to play at it matters not. An incubus show in wisconsin would not only be the coolest thing that has happend in my life, but I mean c'mon they play chicago...and wisconsin beats illinois with a big cheese bat.
An incubus show in wisconsin is needed is what I'm saying.

I would sign a petition entitled "Miller Time for Incubus" in less than a heartbeat. I know, as well as you, that it would be a great venue for them. If "The Fray" can headline...think what our guys could do. What a sweet summer night it would be!
Forget about Summerfest in Milawaukee, Rockfest in Cadott, Wisconsin would be a way better experience for all - down to earth people that love good music.
Lenie's for everyone and campsites galore! Bring the Incubus sound to north western Wisonsin - can't beat it.

Hell yeah! I'm a Wisconsinite and damn proud, but it SUCKS that we have fallen off of Incubus' road map! They have not performed here since October of 2002 in Green Bay. Since then I have been forced to drive to all areas of the Midwest to get my fix....even a 12 hour one way road trip to Columbus, OH!! So worth it, but dude...I'd enjoy something closer to home. I understand that Incubus is on a 2 year hiatus at this point, but who doesn't want to party @ Summerfest?! I say we fashion a petition.."Miller Time for Incubus". Show some love to the beer, cheese(particularly deep-fried cheese curds), cows and the tons of Incufans!!! Which by the way, as a seasoned Incubus tourer- I would like to say that we are NOT boring. I've seen bigger crowds and harder rockin going on in WI than anywhere else. So- badoodoo on that.

We are known for more than cheese...beer rules!...it's "Miller" time. But our cheese is good too. Boring?...probably, most of the year. But, summertime in Wisconsin is really fun. I just have one word...Summerfest. For those of you who don't know, it's the largest music festival in the world. Look it up online. Eight major stages, food from around the world...and all the beer you can hold. Set this on one of the "Great Lakes"...and you can envision "Summerfest". Ten glorious days...

Yes, Wisconsin has been neglected far too long!
I live in Upper Michigan so I have to go to concerts in Wisconsin. Milwaukee can be a problem and lately the closest they've been is Chicago

I've been waiting for a venue in Wisconsin, too. Been a fan longer than I care to admit. Summerfest would be a perfect fit for them...wish they'ed care to try it out for size. It would mean certain kinds of exposure...maybe they only feel comfortable with European and Australian fans. I am issuing a "challenge". If "Tool", "Foo Fighters", "Red Hot Chili Peppers", can feel comfortable with "us"...so can they.
