Like many of these fans I feel a little cheated with this whole experience. I am a true Incubus fan so when I found out they were doing a pre-sale for Monuments & Melodies I bought it. I of course paid what I thought was a little too much, but thought I would do it anyways for the band. Even with pre-ordering the CD, I did NOT get to pre-order my tickets because there was a screw up with the pre-order date. So I basically had to wait like any other person for them to be available to the general public. I also got screwed over with this when I heard live nation was designating certain days for no fees on tickets! I surprisingly got my CD a few days before it got released in stores, sadly that was the only good thing that came out of the pre-sale. Now I hear that I could have saved myself some grief by just buying the CD in stores and getting a litho with it. COMPLETELY DISSAPOINTED. I really think those who participated in the pre-sale should have been the ones to receive the litho with the over priced purchase. Im sad to think that nothing will be done about this....

I went to the Best Buy as soon as the doors opened on Tuesday and they stated that they had not recieved the litho. I checked back every day this week and checked other Atlanta area stores, but no litho. Did someone highjack the shipment to Atlanta?

So I waited for my Pre-ordered cd to come in to see if it came with the so ive heard "amazing litho" and of course....it didnt. So i drive on down to BestBuy on my lunch break today and guess what? After she rang my second CD up i said can I have a litho? She said we just gave the last ones we had to someone an hour ago!! AHHHH!!! . Here I come ebay lol.

Ok guys - I skipped out an an hour of work (not easy at a hospital) to go to best buy today to get my second copy so I could get at least one litho... No surprise - no lithographs!

Did anybody else actually get one from them? Any suggestions?

I'm extra irritated too 'cuase I thought "I wont whine (tho I REALLY want to) about not getting the limited litho with the pre-order; we got pretty spoiled with the last album when we got tickets for the small venue shows for doing the pre-order." But now, I've purchased 2 CDs and STILL dont have one!!!

but i have to agree i pre- ordered the new CD & i would have liked to get this w/ the CD that would have just made my day ....Or an extra ticket to the concert would have been GREAT

Why wasn't this given to the true fans who bought the CD on pre-sale???

Well its pretty crappy that the "true" fans that ordered the album, paid the full cost, paid shipping, waited on top of that, and got no litho. Question. The others get the all access pass as well. If so, we, the true fans, got screwed. = / I really couldnt expect this from this group.

Actually, i made all the arragements to assist at Las Vegas date, and once i get into the site with credit card on hand, I found out the pre order is only valid for the u.s...what the f`*ck???

Doesnt feel bad at all now that i know theres collectable stuff with the purchase, and once again...the litho is only for the U.S!

I know all this is planed in marketing dept of the record label, i`ve worked there, and its not easy to do it overseas, but what about a minimum?...say 20 o 50 lithos for the first ones!!!
And YOU GUYS as the BAND can do something about it, thats for sure.

This is really disappointing, still are a great band, but explain me or show that you care.

Update...After the webcast of Breakfast with Incubus...I went out and purchased my second copy of Monuments and Melodies @ the Thunderbird Zia Records location. The location listed above is their corporate office and they weren't too excited about fans showing up there for their free lithos LOL...I did my homework and called the store locations, all of which had many lithos available. It is larger than I expected and like FROGGYG12 said.. I think i will have mine framed. It is totally worthy of a frame. I love the song, and the lyrics speak to me. Can't stop smiling

This litho is really really cool. I didn't know it would be so big, I'm gonna have to buy a frame. It's definately worth framing.

I haven't yet received my CD set in the mail today, but now I know what I'll be getting. Or not getting, to be more accurate. Thought I was doing Incubus a favor by pre-ordering. Oh, well.

You'd think they'd make an offer like this to get people to pre-order. I'm surprised that this was revealed at the last second (besides being done at all) because I have a high opinion of the band's character. When I ordered mine, I assumed that the store-bought CDs would not have the codes for The Vault....Please tell me I'm right with this one.

im a huge fan i preordered my cd and i love it but im not happy to here about not getting the litho... i thought that preordering was better... should've waited i guess... something should be done about this...

I have been a diehard Incubus fan since the first day I heard a song, and I had pre-ordered Monuments and Melodies the first day I could. Seeing all of the updates today about the litho and handwritten lyrics has really bummed me out about what I thought was the best option of buying the CD. I've listened to it a few times already, and it is great to have before the official release, but something should definitely be done for everyone who pre-ordered and is getting a raw deal on limited edition items.

I just got my pre-ordered CD today and its amazing!!!
Anyways, I just called The Sound Garden in Baltimore MD to ensure that they have the lithos....you know, before I skip work and drive two hours out there to get one tomorrow morning. Well, the lady that I talked to was super rude and said that they don't have any!! She said they just have to cds to sell tomorrow, but no lithos?!? After giving me a bunch of attitude, she said to call again tomorrow to see if they get any by then....
....I guess theres no such think as planning in advance for this one. Does anyone know how many each store is getting?

I've got my CD 4 days ago; :)
and now I'm waiting to get into the vault .....
