This was my very first Incubus concert and it kind of started out as a nightmare. I was going to the meet and greet the following night and the show and I accidently erased the e-mail that MYF had sent with the details. I had no idea what time I was supposed to be at the meet and greet so I was a nervous wreck! This was on my mind! I had sent the organization e-mails but I kept getting error messages. I left plenty of phone messages but nobody returned my calls! Anyway, I was on my way to the first show... I had intended to take the train after I got off my bus but the ones that went right to the venue were closed off. I asked somebody if the other trains went there and of course the person was clueless! I decided to walk about 14 long blocks from the bus station in the sweltering heat in new sneakers. I had blisters on both heels and I was dripping sweat! My feet were killing me and I was exhausted! When I got there, I wasn't in the mood for any s***! I didn't feel like seeing the opening act. I just hung out in the lounge for awhile. I got to my seat and the smell of pot was very strong. It smelled like skunk. I warned the people near me that I was a screamer. They were cool. I had 15th row center, an aisle seat. When Incubus opened with Nice To Know You, I thought it was too fast paced in the chorus. I was starting to think that they weren't going to be that good in concert. Well, my s***ty mood finally changed and I started to scream and sing and dance! I'm short so I kept jumping up and down with my glow sticks bracelet hoping somehow that the band could catch a small glimpse of me in the crowd! I didn't get much footage because the guy in front of me would always get in my way! I'm so glad that they sang 11AM, A Crow Left Of The Murder, A Kiss To Send Us Off, and Are You In/ They put on a good show. I just would've enjoyed it more if my feet weren't in agony and if I wasn't worried about the meet and greet.

The second night was so much better. I got to meet the guys before the show. I had 5th row all the way on the left by Ben Kenney. When they opened with Pardon Me, I lost it! I started dancing around like a head-banger! I'm so glad that they sang that and Punch Drunk and Just A Phase and Circles and Redefine. The whole vibe to the night was better than the night before! Even the weather was better! I had the best time and I can't wait to see Incubus again!

hey morejon I really enjoyed your video.

I too, was one of those who waited around for 2 hrs after the show for them to come out. I thought it was extremely disappointing that they slipped out another exit on us. They could've stepped out for a minute to show some appreciation to their fans.

I was at both shows and I kind of have to agree with morejon about the first night compared to the second regarding the set list. Don't know if the Aug. 4th concert got the short end of the stick, exactly, because Incubus are amazing live, no matter what they do. And the Aug. 4th concert was no exception. But I did prefer the 5th because I liked the set list a bit more. It rocked just a bit harder. I had really wanted to hear Pardon Me and Make Yourself, so I was disappointed that they weren't played in the first show and then relieved that they were in the second one. Loved that Sick, Sad Little World and Circles and Just a Phase were in the second set list too. So happy that Pistola was included in the first show, though. One of my favorites.

I too would have liked to hear BHI, Martini, Midnight Swim, Anything, or While the Vultures Feed. I was kind of surprised that none of them were included. I guess they just wanted to focus solely on the retrospective end of things.

Nevertheless, I had a totally incredible time both nights and I would see them again anytime, anywhere! Best band ever!

I lean against the wind, pretend that I am weightless, and in this moment I am happy...

yea i dont know what happened to our setlist... no pardon me, really? pretty lame encore too (basically the same as two years ago), would have love to have seen redefine-sslw-just a phase. And what happened to their new single, Black Heart Inertia, its getting air time on the radio and everything ( or Midnight Swim, Martini, Anything for that matter).

im glad we got The Warmth and Pistola, both wicked songs, and its hard to complain since Incubus plays so amazing live. but i kinda felt like the first night go the short end of the stick...

here's a video/slideshow of that night:

we also waited for two hours after the show waiting for them to come out to their bus... they never left and the security guards told everyone to go home... lame. The show at Jones beach a couple years ago blew this one away.

That was my first incubus concert and they were absolutely amazing. I fell in love with the band even more after last nite. I wish i could go today too.

I have 2 tix for tonights show. If someone wants them ill let em go for $125 for both. They were 75 each but i have no money to go and see them this time. Their in orchestra 3 row p

This is going to be my first Incubus concert. And i'm so excited. I'm sure they will be awesome.

4th time seeing them and 1st at Radio City and I'm sure they will rock the house!
