Hey again,
I was at the 8/5 RCMH show and like everyone is saying, the energy was totally mind blowing from beginning to the very end. I don't think there was one person sitting down the whole time, even in the upper levels (I was in orch). I was screaming for them to come out for a second encore because they have so many more songs they could do (selfish me lol), but it was by far the best concert I have been to in recent years (and I've been to hundreds!). I am sorry I didn't get tix for both shows since they mixed up the set list both nights.
As promised, here is Wed. nite set list in order (for those who want to reset their Playlists):
Pardon Me
Nice to know You
AnnaMolly
Stellar (fave)
Megalomaniac
Circles (a fave!)
Love Hurts
Just a Phase (a fave!)
Drive / Acoustic
Make Yourself/Acoustic (a fave!)
Dig / Acoustic
Redefine (a fave!)
Warning
Oil & Water
Quiksand (a fave!)
Kiss To Send Us Off (fave!)
Wish You Were Here
Aqueous Transmission - Last Song
Encore:
Punchdrunk (a fave!)
Sick,Sad Little World (a fave!)
Let's Go Crazy - The End
They were just beyond awesome - hard to find the right words to describe the experience.
Again, the energy from start to finish was mind boggling. Everything was absolute perfection.
I hope they record another album soon so they will come back on tour!!!! Definitley going both nights next time lol!!!! P.S. The picture for my icon is one I took at the show during Pardon Me.

I have 2 pix of Brandon boarding the bus after the show on my facebook, if anyone remembers me being there, I was the guy with the black Yankee hat....lmao

This was my first time seeing Incubus. I was lucky enough to go to both Radio City shows, and I am still completely blown away by the experience! One of the best things, leaving the city after the show on the 4th, was just knowing that I would be coming back again the next night. One thing I learned: you don't necessarily have a better time with a center-stage orchestra seat in the 13th row. For the concert on the 5th, I was up in the first mezz, and I could see MUCH better and so I had even more fun. First night I spent a lot of time dodging the really tall, wide people who were blocking my view, just trying to see Brandon (at least) through the sea of big bodies in my way.

What an amazing band! These had to be two of the very best concerts I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot. They really rocked out. I can't remember ever seeing that much raw energy and spirit and joy. I got chills in the opening notes of Megalomaniac and Wish You Were Here and Anna Molly and Pardon Me, just to name a few. Make Yourself, Drive, Nice to Know You and A Kiss to Send Us Off-- wow... Well, wow to the whole thing, really. They were just that amazing all the way through. Loved how the entire audience was on their feet, singing and dancing from beginning to end. What a fantastic high both nights were!

I will definitely go to see them anytime they come to NY!

I lean against the wind, pretend that I am weightless, and in this moment I am happy...

So jealous!! Was at the show too and tried in vain to convince my lame husband to wait outside so that we could catch a glimpse of them as they boarded the tour bus. Next time....hubby stays home!

Tonight I wander and I roam. Just looking for the way back home tonight...

The sun is coming up....I think I've had my fill.....Wait...who the f*** are you?

This was by far the best concert experience of my life (and I go all of the time)! SSLW was my favorite Smiling I also got to send the boys off, watching them board their bus. Brandon's Cheshire cat smile is huge! lol

I don't even know what to say about last night! This was the 3rd time I've seen them live and it was by FAR the best time yet. The set list was incredible! I was so stoked when they came out for the encore and ended up doing my 2 favorite songs off of M&M (Punch Drunk and Lets go crazy). The place was rocking insanely intense during Lets go crazy (is that sentence even correct lol)

I wish I had a way to get to another show in the area as last night was just simply amazing. I came into this show with such high expectations and they did not disappoint. Being that this was a greatest hits album I was wondering what songs they would do and omg did they perform everything lol.

Great show great time and can't wait to go see them again. I vowed years ago after my first concert at MSG that I would see them every time they come to NYC.

I was at the show last night and God.....it's hard to put into words how unbelieveably PHENOMENAL it was!!! It was my very first Incubus concert and it will undoubtedly not be the last!!
I'm still on an Incubus high. I keep getting flashes of last night 's performance. I keep hearing their amazing sound.....Brandon's beautiful voice.....My mind is unwilling to let last night go.
I have to admit that that was the BEST concert I've ever been to and I've been to many, though not in recent years. I took about 10 years off to become an adult. I digress...forgive me.....
What can I say about last night that hasn't already been said?
I have never rocked out as hard as I did last night!! It was incredibly special to hear songs that I never would have had the chance to hear live had they not released a greatest hits CD. Songs that I absolutely adore like Stellar, Dig, Anna Molly, Warning, QuickSand(which I love - though not on M&M- was played), Drive, Wish you were here, Pardon Me, Nice to Know you.....God the list goes on. Basically every single song they played last night. I didn't want the night to end. I didn't want them to stop playing. I could listen to them for an eternity.
The encore was AMAZING. I flipped my wig when they played Punch Drunk. I have to admit that though I tried really hard to keep my eyes on the stage I was unable to do so for any length of time. I was way too lost in the music! It was just me, my Jack D's & coke and their awesome sound! I'm sure I annoyed the people sitting around me to no end but f*** them. They weren't true incubus fans anyway, just stupid girls only there to see BB, with the exception of the dude sitting in front of me who rocked out just as hard as I did.
I awoke this morning with battle scars. The tip of my right pinky finger is completely purple from clapping my hands so hard, I have huge bruises on both my thighs from pressing my legs against the back of the seat in front of me and I have a burn on my right index finger from holding my lit lighter in the air until they took the stage again for the encore. I could barely speak today because I spent the entire time screaming my head off (between songs of course) and singing along with Brandon. It was a night that has been burned into my memory.

A couple of snapshots that will remain with me always.......

The sound of every person in that venue screaming for them to take the stage again just before their encore....it was a defeaning frenzy.....

The sound of probably every voice finishing off the end of Drive as Brandon held his mic out to the audience.

The sight of everyone's hands raised in the air as Brandon sang......
'The worlds a roller coaster and I am not strapped in
Maybe I should hold with care, but my hands are busy in the air saying.....'

Thank you Brandon, Mike, Jose, Ben and Chris. The show was phenomenal.....amazing.......everything I thought it would be and much, much more.

Or does anyone know if there will be any contests that day? Last time I saw these guys, a radio station was doing a drawing for backstage passes outside, and that's how I met them. Does stuff like that happen at RCMH?

[stalker mode on] hey does anyone know where they're gonna stay in NYC? Anyone?! [stalker mode off] hehe...well, seriously (o_O)

Come on, someone must want an Orch. 3 Row HH ticket for this show. Anyone?

circuit231@yahoo.com

I have two eighth row tickets for this show. I only need one. I'm hoping some one would like to join me. Any takers?

I bought the tickets for $180, so I was hoping to sell the one for $90, which I thought was reasonable. Especially since it's hard to find seats this those now.

Thanks.

I do! Please, contact me at nelly-si@yandex.ru or nellisardelli@gmail.com. Thanks!Smiling
