i agree too. both of them have a place in my heart. i mean, don't get me wrong, i love firing up some a crow left of the murder, but i will forever love to hear dirk's bass slaps in redefine and his sweet solo in glass. they coexist in peace in my inner music mind :]

Love that pic where he's holding the flowers...face covered by the lamp shade. Not that I don't want to see his face....he is quite pleasing on the eyes...but it's a cool photo.

I'm sure I'm coming in way late...but I read further down where you guys are discussing the ben factor. I totally agree with Renee...Ben is an amazing addition to Incubus. I personally think Ben took the music to a whole other level. Yes, Morning View was amazing, but not because of Dirk. Kilmore and Mikey's contributions to the album are sick. However, A Crow left of the Murder is by far my favorite album and I think the Ben factor plays a major role in its quality and sound. I may not know what I'm talking about (I'm not a musician) and I don't want to seem like I didn't/don/t appreciate Dirk, but I think Ben deserves so much more credit than what he is given.
