a new level of obsessed i guess?

Hah, so i don't know if this is just me, but today i pulled up to a redlight and had my radio on low, so i heard that the car next to me was playing incubus and i almost felt proud. even though this guy probably knew about incubus for a long time, i kind of felt like a proud parent showing off their child, lol. bad analogy but i was just wondering if this had happend to anyone else.

I tell you something sad too...I had Rogues on the other day and noticed that the car's signal light in front of me was keeping beat with the song! lol

You want to hear something sad? I was doing laundry the other day and the washing machine started making this sound that reminded me of the opening to Megalomaniac.
Incubus on my mind....always. lol

How cool for you KarmaKIng - I would just love it if I walked into a random store and Incubus was playing. I about spazed for an hour when I heard Summer Romance playing on a sports radio show a few months ago. Hearing Incubus on any radio up here in Minneapolis is very rare indeed!

very awesome KarmaKing! It's always nice to meet people with good taste!

Yeah, that's true, RoRo-chan..
But still, I haven't been much obsessed with them lately..

I was working one day on my own. And at my job, I had to do a lot of customer work, namely selling video games. Now on my day-without-the-boss-being-present day, I decided to bring in some tunes. Incubus happened to dominate my selection that day. Actually, all I brought was Incubus albums. And in the middle of me jamming, I meet a mother of four jamming with me. "You like Incubus? I LIKE INCUBUS," ensued. Sure enough, I felt proud and not alone. I met another die hard and pretty much fell in love that day.

Yeah, and when Incubus comes back to Texas, I might not see them again. xD
I'll just wait for some random kpop band to come here. :3

I mean, Incubus just got kind of boring after a while with all the waiting and s***, y'know?

I have never just met a random Incubus fan either. I went to my first Incubus concert in 07 with an Incubus fan but we didn't really click, but I clicked with the band BIG time! LOL!! I wonder what ever happened to that guy? Anyway, if someone pulled up beside me blasting Incubus, I would just have to try and say hi!

--
'cuz without love I won't survive

Yes, all to ourselves. Besides you guys, I haven't randomly met Incubus fans. The people at the concert were awesone though!

OMG you've already been to the muse concert?! I have about 5 more days.....

THANK GOD one of my best friends loves them.... but the be honest, i can stay stuff here that doesn't sound creepy or dumb that might to her.=]

I FLIPPED OUT when I perusing my friends status updates on fb and read one that had dig lyrics. I don't even really talk to the guy and didn't hesitate to comment. but waaaaay to many people have never heard of them before. but I guess I'm okay with that. I remember someone saying that way, we have them more to ourselves. =D

sing this song, remind me that we'll always have each other... when everything else is gone.

That's tragic, Amber. All I'm going to say about that.....

Jackie: Yes! I swear I had to shut myself up because I was a gushing fool. lol But they understood, being fans themselves. It's funny but I've actually come across Incubus fans in the past....the ticketmaster rep that sold me my tickets to the Radio City show, a microsoft tech that was helping me fix my computer, and now these 2 at the Muse concert...and of course, you guys. I just wish that I could find people in my immediate circle that love them as much as I do.

Ever since they've been on hiatus, I recently deleted their songs from my MP3 player too add SHINee/SuJu music on there..

But hey, I still have Incubus cd's!
=]

And I'm starting to kind of lose my love for Incubus, BTW..

Christine...don't you just feel like you could go on and on??!! If I didn't talk to you guys I would be banging my head against the wall at the frustration of people NOT knowing how fantastic they are!

my biggest fear will be the rescue of me...

No...I wish! We'd be come instant friends for sure. lol
Speaking of making friends because of a mutual love for Incubus.....at the Muse concert I sat next to 2 people and had a very lengthy and enthusiastic conversation about our admiration for them. Neither one caught the last tour so I filled them in on the experience of seeing Incubus at Radio City. It was really cool. I love when that happens.

--

That would be awesome if I pulled up next to someone who was blasting Incubus! I think we would become immediate friends! lol I listen to them as soon as I get in my car from work. They definitely de-stress me!

So I was driving today on the Van Wyck Expressway....I rounded the bend, saw that up ahead of me it was nearly bumper to bumper and groaned. I was tired and not at all in the mood to deal with the clusterf*** of cars looming in front of me. What did I do soothe my annoyance? I popped in ACLOTM, put it on blast, lowered my windows because the sun decided to finally grace me with its presence and sang my heart out to some of my favorite Incubus tracks. Didn't care that I drew strange stares in my direction.....it was me, the sun's warmth, a wonderfully mellow breeze rustling my hair and Incubus. I actually enjoyed the rest of my ride after that. No better way to get through the frustration of traffic, if you ask me......
Thought maybe some of you would get this....how I turned a bad into a good....with Incubus.

Since all of you are going to get blocked, because the admin of the site obviously hates us for no apparent reason, and blocked both of my good accounts, what's the point of being on this site, then, if all that's going to happen is that we get blocked?

What a nice break in concentration! lol

Too bad Incubus can't save me during the whole school day.
Because I'm pretty much surrounded by idiots who always make me want to go mentally/criminally insane on their asses.

I was just studying for the pharmacology test my new employer is mandated to give me before I can actually begin working and medicating patients. My eyes were strained, and my mind awhirl with drug classifications, dosages, contraindications, administration procedures...blah,blah, blah....and thinking all the while "f***!!!! I'm going to fail this test!!"....when I heard the unmistakable opening to Stellar drifting from the speakers on my TV, which I have on the music choice Alt/Rock channel. So I look up and see a still frame of Brandon, kneeling on the stage, mic in hand, a small smile playing on his lips...which he's biting down on....really nice pic.....I'm sure some of you have seen it. Needless to say....my concentration was broken. lol So I sat there, closed my eyes and listened, grateful for the much needed break I was given.
Just felt the need to share that.....
