The best
is my favorite album!!!!! with Morning view!!!!
one of my favorite albums ever
I got this album when I was 14 from my brother and haven't gotten sick of it. I remember I was so young and I couldn't really comprehend what he was singing about I was just obsessed with the music and his voice. When I got a little older I realized how amazing his lyrics are and I could relate to almost every song. Make Yourself is the best song on this album for me. The lyrics are so right on and the way the song is put together is epic! I miss you, The warmth, privelage, and clean are amazing as well, but there isn't an okay song on this album. The whole thing is stellar!

What Got Me
I sooooooo remember seeing this video(Stellar) for the first time, and was like.....WHO IS THIS DUDE?? Beautiful voice, and.....HOTTTTTT
I then went and bought the cd the next day....and jammed the helll out of it till Morning View came out. LOVE Stellar, and the Warmth spoke to me soo much, that it STILL gives me goosebumps when I hear it

First album
Make yourslef was the first Incubus album I got and I have truely loved them ever since!
I used to listen to it time and time again.
It started when someone was playing "The Warmth" in my school hall, when I was 14 and I asked who it was by and 6 years later I'm still such a big fan.
It remains my favourite album

Goosebumps
This album makes me want more every time I vibe. It puts me in a state of euphoria every time I hear songs like "The Warmth" and "Nowhere Fast".

Make Myself Love It
Well, It wasn't hard for this album to hook me in. I was lost in all of the tracks saying, Wow!!! I haven't heard rock sound like this...I wanted more. This was the first album I ever heard from these cats. I had borrowed the CD from someone I worked with and I was like I needed to get one of my own. This CD just came harder to me. Sure, I loved Mike, Brandon, Kilmore, and Dirk, but Jose just was doing some things on the drums that I never heard before...as far as patterns go. I liked how in the midst of it all, they threw a little hip hop vibe in the mix. It made me see that they were not closed-minded from a musical perspective. My addiction to Incubus began.
Incubus - Make Yourself
The first Cd i ever heard of this band and so far the most outstanding one... i just think its the most balanced one, if you hear the ones before and the ones after Make Yourself... you'll actually see that this album somehow have a little of them all... You can chill out as hearing morning view // Light Granades or hear something like the old incubus as S.C.I.E.N.C.E. // Fungus Amongus. For me the most outstanding piece of work from them.

I was only 11 when this album came out and I, like many countless others, had heard "Drive" on el radio & wanted more. Xmas time rolled around & little pre-teen me did a happy dance in my PJ's when I saw that my mom -- I mean Santa -- had gotten me "Make Yourself". In fact I still do a happy dance when I listen to this album. Fan-fn-tastic.

This album is an inspiration for me. The music is brilliant, but the lyrics of self-discovery and self-definition have been words I've lived by since I first learned them.
I honestly don't know where I'd be without this album. I'd certainly not be listening to Incubus right now.
