100 Greatest Songs of the 90's
so i've been watching it all week on VH1 expecting atleast one Incubus song to be on there. and i got nothing.i was a little upset.

Replies for this Forum Topic
if anything im happy incubus didnt make the list.
only maybe 30% of those songs are even good. most of it is pop music, if critics or fans made that list it would be totally different. those lists are made with the charts which is bogus cause the charts are basically which band has the most radio time and advertising to it.
I mean the Spice Girls? Will anyone consider that song a classic in 30 years? no, but when you hear "Drive" in 30 years you'll say "that song is a classic".
that list is like making a list of the best movies by using the Box Office numbers.

I kinda like Nirvana but eh...
STP should've been #1.
o_o

I didn't mean that I wanted U2 to win. I would rather see the Spice Girls at #1, if it was between them and Nirvana. I hate the Spice Girls, just not as much as I hate Nirvana.

I'd rather have STP be number 1 than U2(gay, no offense please)

yeah the station i listen to plays the old and new stuff all the time....they'll even play like 2 or 3 songs straight...

Like was said already, they didn't make it on that list because they didn't have a hit until 99. That list brought back so many memories though..I loved it. Although, U2 being number 2 on the list pissed me off. GAYY.

The station I listen to here plays their recent stuff and old(drive, stellar ect).

Where I live it is still the only Incubus song you hear on the radio. The stations here play that instead of their new singles.

True. That's the only song they played on the radio for awhile.
They didn't get really popular until Drive came out.

Mhm. I saw the Cribs thing and I was like... "OMFG OMFG OMFG YAAAAAAAY" LOL! I was so excited because I didn't see it so I decided to download it so it'd never go away.
you do something to me that i cant explain....

I would have been surprised if Incubus made the list considering they didn't have a big single until the late 90's.
--
"You better choose your words carefully/ because I'm not your anything."
It was mainly s*** like Def Leppard.

I didn't see VH1, but I heard that STP wasn't on the list. is that true?
that would be a stupid list for the 90's if so.

Incubus was on MTV Cribs. ^,^
I downloaded it & watched so many times... lol.
ive seen specials on mtv that are like an hour of music videos form one band. i saw one for the foo fighters. ya think they have an incubus one?

i know i usually hear little clips on MTV Cribs, mostly Wish You Were Here and Nice To Know You. but i mean thats not really recognition cause unless your and Incubus fan, you wont know what song that is cause its usually like the beat of it. i think its time they get recognized in a countdown of some sort.
MTV wouldn't leave Incubus out. every time I see Real Life or Made they always play Incubus in the background. I wonder how much money they get for that?

i kno its horrrible. i havent watched it but i watched the 80s version. i think livin on a prayer by bon jovi was #1.........i love bon jovi!!!

incubus is a totally under-rated band. of course the idiots at vh1 would miss their songs. they actually have talent

"If only the lights would dim a little, I'm weary of eyes upon my scars"
"Without love I won't survive"
haha thats so amazingly true
I can't stand how Nirvana always end up being #1 for everything 90's related. That is so stupid, it basically defeats the purpose of having a countdown.
--
"You better choose your words carefully/ because I'm not your anything."
smells like teen spirit was number one. i love nirvana but blah
What was #1? I actually wasn't surprised Incubus didn't make it. I mean, Foo Fighters- Everlong didn't even make it.
--
"You better choose your words carefully/ because I'm not your anything."
ME TOO!
Damn that show to hell.
