heyllo world of incubus fans my name is chance and i've taken time to think about this and i thought that maybe we could share some things with the band, i'm sure they check their forums every once in a while. anyways to help get everyone started with throwing out ideas i'll start it off. i was listening to some of the early incubus songs and i wondered what it would be like if they played some acoustic and hopefully one day they'd perform it live, idk, but i'd like to hear the old songs played again by a more mature incubus.

For two things:

1. A new Incubus album. "Duh, KarmaKing, who isn't?" I know, I know... M&M has kept me above my musical ground til now, not to mention all the replays of previous albums and the constant search to find another band that can grab me, drug me, and have its way with me the way Incubus does....

And 2. I'm really super duper ready for Mike to start shredding the way he does on the "Let's Go Crazy" cover. I love the way he evolves his playing from album to album and I just can't wait to see if he'll began to really fully grasp a shredding solo. I know Sick Sad Little World is incredible, trust me. I've tripped more on that song than a hippy in San Fran. But it's a different type of shredding. I'm ready for my face to melt on the first play of their next album. Mike if you're reading this, you're my boy, I know you'll make us proud. I know you guys know what I'm talking about, too.

Now what makes you excited about the guys' next journey into sound?

I found this on a tumblr and it seems a little old already, but I had never read it before so I've decided to share. It's apparently a message from Mikey to a member of Incubus Online View.
It doesn't really say anything new, but I felt like I should share? Lol *smiley*

I have been thinking about one of Brandon's quotes, with regard to his writing of the song wish you were here. I can't remember the whole quote. So can anybody please help me find it? Some of the words that I remember are:

"....while I was walking on the beach one night......(i can't remember this part, then at the end..)
....loving that moment, and wishing that I had/have someone, perhaps, to share it with.

I don't remember where I heard/read it. But I used to know that quote by heart. I just can't seem to remember it now. Does anyone know/remember the whole quote?
